The VIIth Delhi Meet
of the YU group was held on 28/08/2005
in Garhawal Bhavan at 11.00 am. Nearly
twenty members turned up for the meet
and the meet continued upto 1.30 pm.
The agenda items and the decisions
of the meet were.I. Organization of
the Group and its registration.
Members
expressed their concern about the
undue delay in registration of the
group and decided that the group should
be got registered as a Society at
the earliest. Any other decisions
on structures / procedures to be followed
by the organizations would be made
by the members on consensus only after
the group registered.
II. Revival
and incorporation of Project I (Essay
Writing Competition) as a regular
feature of the Group
Members agreed
upon the fact that the success of
the Project I should be revived and
the Essay writing Competition should
be made a regular feature of the group.
The project would be executed within
a given definite time frame, keeping
in mind all the deficiencies which
have been observed during its first
trial. Members would be soon intimated
of the time schedule & Topic of
the Essay Writing Competition 2005-2006
III. Project II –Publication
of a Career Guidance Book for Students
of Uttaranchal
Discussion on the
Project II to be taken up by the group. All
the group members agreed to go ahead
with the Project II of the Young Uttaranchal
Group regarding publishing of Career
Guidance Book for the students of
Uttaranchal.
A Subcommittee to monitor
the progress of the project and compilation
and initial editing of the Book on
Career Guidance was formed comprising
of the following members:

3. Shri Vijay Barthwal
4. Shri Sanjay Kukshal
5. Shri Arun Juyal
A fifteen members
team is to be formed to work for the
project under the guidance of the
Sub-committee for which 10 members
volunteered whose names are as under:

2. Purnendu Singh Chauhan (Government
Jobs)
3. Shantanu Singh Chauhan (IT &
related industries)
4. Shri Vipin Panwar (Consolidated)
5. Shri P S Negi (Armed Forces including
Police)
6. Shri Dinesh Tiwari (Astrology)
7. Shri Bharat Bhusan Lekhawar
8. Shri Deepak Kala (Consolidated)
9. Shri Ganesh Sajwan (IT & related
industries)
10. Shri Karan Singh Rawat (International
Marketing)
It was further decided
that all the members would be invited
to submit information related to career
guidance in the prescribed form to
the team on various career opportunities
according to their convenience which
would compiled by the Team and put
up for approval of the Sub-Committee.
Other
members from different professional
fields would also be requested to
volunteer to join the team for the
Project II of the YU group and members
would be requested to contribute financially
to meet the expenditures involved
in the publishing of the Book.
After
some informal discussions and light
moments, the meeting was dissolved
at 1.30 pm. |
